Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is for people who've done the work in traditional therapy but feel like they've hit a ceiling. It combines the therapeutic relationship with a carefully dosed, legal medicine to open new pathways for processing and healing.

This isn't recreational. It's not a shortcut. It's a supported, intentional experience within the context of ongoing therapy — with preparation before, presence during, and integration after.

How KAP Works

Preparation

We establish your therapeutic goals and ensure KAP is a good fit. This includes medical screening with a prescribing physician.

The Session

KAP sessions are longer than traditional therapy. I'm present throughout, providing support and helping you navigate the experience.

Integration

Integration sessions help you make sense of what came up and translate insights into lasting change. This is where the real work happens.

KAP May Be Right for You If

  • Traditional therapy has helped but you've plateaued
  • You're dealing with treatment-resistant depression or anxiety
  • Trauma work feels stuck at a somatic or pre-verbal level
  • You're open to an expanded approach to healing

Psychedelic Integration

If you've had a psychedelic experience — whether in a clinical setting, a ceremony, or on your own — and are looking for support making sense of it, I can help. Integration therapy provides a safe, non-judgmental space to process what came up and weave those insights into your daily life.

Note: KAP sessions are conducted in-person in Santa Cruz, CA. Ketamine is prescribed by a licensed physician as part of the treatment protocol. KAP is not appropriate for everyone — suitability is determined during the screening process.
