Couples & Family Therapy

Most couples don't come in because they've stopped caring. They come in because they care deeply but can't stop hurting each other. The fights feel circular. The distance feels impossible. You're both trying, but it's like you're speaking different languages.

I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples understand the emotional patterns underneath the conflict. It's not about who's right — it's about what's happening between you that keeps pulling you apart.

I Work With

  • Couples navigating communication breakdowns
  • Partners healing from betrayal or trust ruptures
  • LGBTQ+ couples and families
  • Blended families figuring out how to come together
  • Adult children working on relationships with parents
  • Couples considering separation who want clarity

What to Expect

Couples sessions are 80 minutes — longer than individual sessions because there's more to hold. I'm active in the room. I'll slow things down when they speed up, point out patterns as they happen, and make sure both of you feel heard.

EFT isn't about teaching you communication scripts. It's about helping you feel safe enough to be vulnerable with each other again — or maybe for the first time.
